Porto de Mós

rto de Mós, located in the Leiria region, is a historic town surrounded by the Natural Park of the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros. It was an important Roman settlement and continues to be a source of stone used in the Portuguese pavement. The town stretches from its medieval castle to the Municipal Market, and nearby is a section of the ancient Roman road, now a 9-kilometre hiking route.
