Let’s have fun and set off on an adventure to discover one of the highest and most iconic points of the Serra de Aire e Candeeiros, the Fórnea de Alvados, one of the best-preserved natural amphitheatres in Europe.

Climbing to over 500 metres in altitude, we will soar with eagles over rocky ridges and experience the deep connection with nature that this magical place offers.

Exploring ancient shepherds’ trails, understanding the importance of biodiversity, and discovering the region’s geological wonders will be the focus of this hike. Along the way, we will encounter limestone pavements, caves, sinkholes, birds of prey, wild boar trails, and the rich flora of the region—each discovery unfolding as we walk.
A lunch box with local products is included.

Conditions:
